Rabie Ridge, Gauteng – Authorities are facing mounting scrutiny following the circulation of a viral video allegedly showing an assault involving a woman at Rabie Ridge Police Station.

The incident, which reportedly began as a routine stop, quickly escalated into a confrontation. According to accounts accompanying the video, a woman identified as Isabel Sibanda was asked to produce identification documents. It is alleged that she complied and that she is legally in South Africa.

However, footage circulating on social media appears to show tensions rising between Sibanda and a police officer. Witnesses claim the officer struck her with the butt of a firearm during the altercation.

Sources indicate that Sibanda was later taken to Ebony Park Clinic, where she reportedly received 10 stitches. It is further alleged that she remains under police guard and may face detention.
