She parked in the parking lot and was on her way to CCMA , and was shot in full view of the public .

Nearby witness heard 4 gunshots.

The woman is believed to be a lawyer.

The shooting occurred near the
Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration's office.

The 35-year-old female lawyer was in the employ of a mining company.

Lawyer fatally shot outside CCMA in Joburg CBD daylight attack has been named.

Chinette Gallichan was actively practising in the labour litigation department for Sibanye-Stillwater at the time of her death.

She is believed to have been involved in a labour dispute concerning workers who had allegedly been retrenched and were seeking compensation.
