Update: Bolt Murder Suspect Nabbed.

The police have arrested a female suspect after a Bolt driver was hijacked and murdered in Pretoria West in Gauteng on Thursday night the 13 of February 2026.The senseless incident was captured on dashboard cameras.Social media quickly shared the pictures of the female suspect.The woman will appear at Atteridgeville magistrate court on Monday the 16 of February 2026.

Another Suspect Arrested For The Murder Of Bolt Driver:

The police have confirmed that a second suspect has been apprehended for the hijacking and senseless murder of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria, Gauteng.

The police are still pursuing for the third suspect and are hopeful that an arrest will be imminent soon.

A bolt driver was strangled and suffocated inside his vehicle in Pretoria West moments after picking the suspects.His lifeless body and the vehicle were discovered in Atteridgeville.

The senseless murder was captured on dash camera and quickly making rounds on social media.

The two suspects are expected to appear at Atteridgeville magistrate court on Monday the 16 of February 2026.

Update:
Bolt Driver Murder Case Postponed. Suspects Remain in Custody
The murder case of 22-year-old Nigerian e-hailing driver Isaac Satlal returned briefly to the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court this morning.

Three accused, Dikeledi Tears Phela, Gositsiane Machidi, and McClaren Mushwana, face charges of murder and carjacking linked to the killing of the young Bolt driver. Their court appearance was short, with the matter postponed to 23 February 2026 to give police more time to complete investigations.

The two male suspects remain in custody at SAPS Pretoria North Police Station, while Phela is being held at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre.

For Isaac’s family and many drivers who rely on e-hailing to survive, the wait for justice continues. Each delay deepens the questions around safety, accountability, and the value placed on young lives taken too soon.
